Arkinetics designed the 50,000 sf initial building to reflect Q-Lab’s philosophy which focuses on employee retention, social interaction and collaboration.
Six years later, when the growing business required a 72,000 sf extension of all space types, maintaining the same design concept was the client’s greatest desire, as well as the project’s main challenge.
By reconfiguring the entire layout Arkinetics’ solution not only enhanced the social collaboration aspect, but also created a new visual focus and a central hub that links all other parts of the facility.
With its imposing structure, two-story glass windows, monumental stairs and large skylights, the new break room has become the hallmark of the Q-Lab headquarters.
