Arkinetics and its partners formed a multidiscipline team to provide full owner’s representative services and created a private-public partnership with the Lorain Port Authority, the City of Lorain and Lorain County. The district is to be developed as a restaurant/entertainment district with a marina and public waterfront, promenade, and residential area including a hotel and small convention center. The master plan extends the existing street grid through the site to the water, connecting Broadway Avenue with the river front for the time in Lorain’s history.
